Process

If youre comparing financial advisorsand we hope you are—our principles and case studies will tell you how we think. This page will tell you how we work.

Step 1

An introductory call

We start with a 20 to 30 minute phone call or video meeting. You tell us about your situation, including questions on your mind and any money events upcoming or in motion. We tell you how we work and what we’d focus on first.

There’s no obligation and no fee for this call. By the end of it, we’ll both have a good sense of whether there’s a reason to keep talking. We’ll share details about how we structure engagements, decide what financial topics are of your highest priority, and define a scope of work.

Step 2

A deep wealth analysis

We conduct an in-depth analysis of your complete financial picture. This is the foundation of everything we do — not a questionnaire and a portfolio recommendation, but a thorough study of your income sources, spending patterns, tax exposure, benefits, family circumstances, and time horizon.

Our ultimate intention is to provide you with a clear, detailed picture of where you stand, where the risks and opportunities are—so you can make a decision with greater confidence.

We walk through everything together and make sure nothing is unclear before we move forward.

Step 3

Implementation

Once the plan is set, we put it into action. This is where accounts get consolidated, portfolios get built, and strategies get executed. We handle the paperwork and the coordination with custodians and other professionals.

Because we’re product-agnostic, the tools follow the plan. We don’t start with a preferred product and work backward.

Step 4

The ongoing relationship

Your situation will change—retirement arrives, tax law shifts, markets move, family circumstances evolve. We meet regularly to review, adjust, and make sure the structure still fits.

You’ll hear from us. If something in the market or in tax policy affects your plan, we’ll call or email you. You won’t have to wonder whether anyone is paying attention. We stay available.
